Global Experience Program

Client: Deakin University

Produced: 2010

Length: 8.37 minutes

Teaching in a different country can show you a whole new world.

Deakin University commissioned this 8-minute film to foster interest in their Global Experience Program. It features interviews with three education students who had participated in the program and incorporates their own footage and stills. Completed in 2010, the video exhibits at University Open Days and other events, and is shown on the Deakin University web site. This production, for us, was all about the story. We wanted to differentiate it from the BAIS video, a similar production we had completed the year before, and yet still evoke a sense of travel and a journey taken. We spent a lot of time planning the narrative structure and letting the story breathe.
