‘Memories of War’ project is underway
Wind & Sky Productions is delighted to announce the launch of the ‘Memories of War’ project web site.
The Memories of War project commemorates the centenary of WW1 in Ballarat through engaging young researchers to discover and tell the stories of Ballarat people affected by the Great War. Young researchers from Federation University will share their stories on the Ballarat Gold Museum Blog and in a series of local events held in 2015. A documentary film based on the research findings will be produced in 2015 and screened at a dedicated event at the Museum of Australian Democracy at Eureka, Ballarat.
Wind & Sky Productions is the project management team and will also produce the documentary film.
This project is a collaboration between the Ballarat RSL, Federation University Australia, the Ballarat Gold Museum, the Museum of Australian Democracy at Eureka, Wind & Sky Productions and the Ballarat Ranger Military Museum.
The young researchers project blog, where they will share their stories, is currently in development.
In the meantime project news and updates can be found on the project web site ( http://mow.windsky.com.au/ ).
